Customer Debt Management Policy

If you change your mind
You can change your mind and cancel a service within the cooling-off period. If we have started providing a service, you will have to pay for the full cost of the service you have had including the charges for the service and anything you have used which is not covered by the charges together with any connection or activation fees associated with a service. If you cancel a service within the cooling-off period and we have provided you with equipment for that service, the agreement will not end until you have returned the equipment. If the equipment is worth less than its original value as a result of it being used or damaged we might reduce the amount of the refund due to you.
Fair Usage Policy
Free Calls (residential call plans)
Free calls of up to 60 minutes duration per call, fair use policy applies - maximum 1,500 minutes or 300 calls a month (excludes indirect access numbers and dial-up internet access) per telephone line. If either of these limits is exceeded, Direct Save Telecom will charge for these calls until further notice (Calls to 01, 02, and 03 as applicable to call plan type). Any calls exceeding 60 minutes will be chargeable in full.

Most of our customers are on the latest ADSL2+ broadband technology and enjoy fast broadband with little or no impact at peak times.
A very small percentage of exchanges have not been upgraded to ADSL2+ and at these exchanges we deliver broadband services on the older ADSL and ADSLMax technology and traffic management tools are employed.
